She is also the co-author of Winning Strategies for Family Caregiving, offering tools to help families care for loved ones while preserving relationships and resources.

Our February conversation was inspired by the powerful book Grief Is a Sneaky Bitch by Lisa Keefauver, a social worker, therapist, and widow who challenges the idea that grief should be tidy or something we simply “move on” from.
Death Over Tea creates space for honest conversations about grief, loss, and love. These gatherings offer a gentle, supportive environment for reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of how grief can deepen our appreciation for life.
